I know it's been a while since I last posted. That's because Mommy and I have been super busy lately. She is stressing out at work a lot, so I have to work super hard to help her have fun when we're home after school. And, since she is the one who normally helps me blog, we've both taken a little break from the blog. A lot has happened in the past couple of weeks, so I will try to catch you up just a little bit. On August 23rd we celebrated Daddy's birthday. I got him a card and drew a special picture in it just for him. I wanted to draw more but Mommy kept taking the markers away from me before I was done! I read the card to Daddy on his birthday.
I have recently decided that I can get pretty far by rolling and I have even started to practice getting my knees under me and my bottom up in the air so that I can start crawling soon. Here's a video of my new talents:
I've also really discovered my feet recently and even like to hold on to them while I'm napping just to make sure they don't run off without me!

With all the rolling that I'm doing during the day, I cannot help but roll during the night as well. So, many times over the past couple of weeks my Mommy and Daddy have found me like this in the morning (even though they put me down on my back to sleep).

This past weekend we went to Hilton Head Island again. The last time I was there, I was only four weeks old. It was a lot more fun this time. I was a little sick (first cold from daycare) so I didn't spend a lot of time on the beach, but I did go swimming. It was a fun,
relaxing weekend at the beach!
(My Grampa said this is how golfers wear their sunglasses on top of their hats.)
That brings us to this week. It has been a busy week ... back to work and school, but I have started eating semi-solid foods this week (mostly just rice cereal so far ... next week I will start on some vegetables). I did sneak a teeny piece of lettuce when we were watching the UGA football game on Saturday. My daddy thought he saw me sneak something and chew it, but I was so sneaky that they couldn't find anything in my mouth and didn't know if I really
ate it until the next morning (if you know what I mean...).
Here are some pictures of my rice cereal experience:
As you can tell I have been a busy girl. I will try to make time to update the blog more often. Maybe soon you might see a video of me crawling...
