Some Pictures from March

I love my baby brother!
We have been very busy this month since Luke was born!
Here are some pictures from this month ...

Luke and me on St. Patrick's Day
(Mommy says this is the best picture of the two of us so far).

This was our first family picture (taken in the hospital).

I love to hold my brother!

Here are some funny baby faces:
(yawning)

(almost smiling!)

(deep in thought)

(ooohhh!)

Some sleeping baby pictures:

One day Mommy told me to go upstairs and find a clean shirt to put on. This is what I came downstairs wearing:
(and this is my model pose)

I love this picture of Grammy, Luke, and me!

This was Luke's first walk around the neighborhood! I had fun helping Mommy push the stroller down the street!

Luke's first "Tummy Time."
He likes to go straight to sleep whenever he's placed on his tummy for tummy time! Not really the point of tummy time, Luke!!!

A kiss for Luke during floor play time!

What kind of big sister would I be if I did not join Luke for some Tummy Time? I was trying to show him how to do it!

I helped Mommy and Daddy give Luke his first bath!
He really loved the warm bath.

I insisted that we had to take pictures during my bath time, too!

I love my brother!

(He's holding my finger. So sweet!)

Last Saturday I had my Ballet recital pictures.
I had to curl my hair and get all dressed up for the pictures.
I felt like a beautiful ballet princess!

Okay, that's all for now.
More pictures coming soon!

Erkie is here!!!

Remember this?
It's me on my very first birthday - the day I was born.

And, now, introducing...
My baby brother, Luke! (He has a real name now!)

Here are some interesting things about my brother and me:
I was born at 39 weeks, 5 days. 2 days early.
Luke was born at 39 weeks, 2 days. 5 days early.
(We both were due on March 13th.)

I was born on 3-11-08.
Luke was born on 3-08-11.

Luke and I were both 19 inches long when we were born.

I am so happy my brother is here.
I am a super great big sister and an awesome helper!
Luke likes to sleep a lot, but if he cries, I run super fast to turn on some music or sing him a song and he stops crying. I love to hold him and talk to him. My mommy says that she doesn't know what she would do without my help!

More pictures coming soon!

3rd Birthday!

We celebrated my 3rd birthday a week early this year because we weren't sure when my little brother was going to arrive.

First, we went to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch. I had lots of fun with Grandma, Grammy, Grampa, Daddy, and Mommy. It was super crowded, but we ate pizza and played lots of fun games.

Then we went to Honey and Pop's house for my Princess Party. I loved my Rapunzel cake. I picked it out of the book at the bakery all by myself!

I got to dress up like a princess for my party.

Everyone else had to dress up like a princess or a prince for my party, too!

Finally, it was time for cake and ice cream!

I made a wish and blew out my candles!

I had so much fun on my party day.
That much fun made me a very tired THREE year old girl!

Snow Day 2011!

Mommy and I wore our snow socks last night, hoping for a a snow day. And guess what! IT WORKED!

It started snowing last night after I went to sleep, and it snowed all night long!

We finally got to go out to play in the snow this morning.
It was SOOO cold!

(I had to wear Mommy's gloves, because one of my mittens is lost!)

I made a snow angel. It was kind of hard because a layer of ice had formed on top of the soft snow. You can tell by the look on my face in this picture that I'm not too sure about lying down in the snow!

After a snowball fight, snow angel, and a feeble attempt at building a snowman we came back inside to warm up.

The only thing better than snuggling on the couch inside the warm house on a snow day? ...
Updating the blog!
Be sure to keep scrolling down, because I've done 4 or 5 posts today!

Christmas Morning 2010!

When I woke up on Christmas morning, I was SO excited to go downstairs to see if Santa Claus had visited my house.

Waiting to go downstairs

Here I go...

He ate the cookies!!!

This is all for me!?

I played with each of my new toys.

I think Mommy had more fun with some of them...

My favorite new backpack! I'm also wearing my Snow White dress that I have lived in since Christmas (well it's a tie between that dress and the Minnie Mouse dress Honey and Pop gave me)!

What a super fun Christmas!

Christmas Celebrations!

Here are a "few" pictures from Christmas 2010:

I baked and decorated cookies with Honey, Bess, and Mommy.

This is Christmas Eve at Honey and Pop's house. We had a yummy brunch and lots of fun family time. You would never know I had a fever of 102.7 in these pictures (nobody knew until I said, "I'm tired." Then they knew something must be wrong!)!

On Christmas Day, we went to Grandma's house for lunch and more family fun time.

We had a White Christmas!

The day after Christmas, we braved the snowy roads (it wasn't really that bad) and headed to Locust Grove for some more family Christmas fun. Here I am doing a Christmas scavenger hunt with the cousins!

I practiced being a big sister. I really enjoyed reading books to Lane.

Two days after Christmas, we were still celebrating with Grammy and Grampa, Aunt Kat, Uncle Matthew, Uncle Thomas, and Andrew! We had MORE family fun time!

I really enjoyed celebrating Jesus' birthday this year. In fact, two weeks after Christmas, I still say, "And thank you for Jesus' birthday," every time I say a blessing or prayer!

Santa Visit(s) 2010!

I visited Santa Claus THREE times this Christmas! We went to the mall so I could tell him what I wanted for Christmas. I said, "Books." That's it. Just books.

Then we went to Pigeon Forge with Honey and Pop. And guess who was at the go-cart track!?

And, finally I saw him again when we visited a store called "Santa's Claus-et." I even saw him write my name in the "Nice" book!
