Santa Express!

I had so much fun today! We drove up to Blue Ridge, GA to ride on a "choo-choo" and you will never guess who got on that train with us!

Here are some pictures from my super-fun day. Mommy apologizes because she let the battery die on her camera, so all of these pictures are from her phone. Pop got some better pictures for sure (with a real camera even!), so I will have to share them with you when I can.

Did you guess it? Santa got on that train and even came to talk to me! I did NOT sit in his lap. I stayed with Mommy, which is why I have no other pictures of Santa to post here. Hopefully Pop has a good Santa picture for me to share with you later!

Rain, Rain, Go Away

When we were getting ready to go to church this morning, it was raining. Before I could get in the car to go to church I had to sing and dance a little bit. The lyrics to this song are something like, "Dance! Rain rain, go, rain. Go, rain way. Go, rain way. Go, GO! Dance, dance, dance, DANCE! WAH!" Now that you know the words, let's sing it altogether!

Independence

I am so independent! There are many things I can do ALL BY MYSELF! Whenever a light needs to be turned on, it's "mah-turn, mah-turn." I open and close the garage door whenever we're walking in or out of the garage, and as it's closing (or opening) I yell, "I did it!!!" I try to help walk Maggie every day when we get home from school. Everything is "mine." I like to try everything by myself before I will let Mommy or Daddy help me. If I need help, after trying on my own, I say, "Mommy help." And guess what! She always helps if I need her! Here are some of the things I can do by myself:

I can read my own bedtime story.

I can put on my own accessories.

I can choose which shoes to wear and put them on all by myself.

If you try to help me, this is the face I make!

"No, Mommy! Mah-turn!"

I can play with my stickers all by myself.

I know exactly where each sticker goes.

I can feed Maggie. I don't need any help.

I don't need ANY help at all!

Sick :(

I have been sick for the past couple of days. Yesterday I started feeling sick at church. Not really bad or anything, just really tired and sleepy. Then my fever went up and up! So, today I stayed home with Daddy. He took good care of me while Mommy went to work. I am feeling better, but still have a fever, so Mommy is staying home with me tomorrow. Even though it is no fun to be sick, I sure am enjoying this extra Mommy and Daddy time! Here are some pictures to fill your Katie-cuteness cup for the day:
