So.....

I know, I know.
I haven't posted in a few weeks.
I've been a busy girl! (Yes, I am aware that I say that in every post ... but only because it's true!)
So, what have I been up to?  ......
Well....  I have been talking like crazy.
When you ask me a question, I almost ALWAYS answer with "Noooo!"
I love to dance and sing.
I have become very "artistic." (See pictures below.)
I have still been eating really great.  I still love lots of different foods, and usually Mommy and Daddy order me a kids meal when we eat at a restaurant!
I love to help Mommy walk Maggie when we get home from work/school.  I always say, "Go Pah-py!!!" (Go potty!)
There are so many words and sentences that I say, that I can't think of them all right now.
So, instead, I will show you some pictures!

"Cheese!"

Playing around the mist fountain in Decatur.

A few Saturdays ago, I went to go see Brobee (from my favorite show, "Yo Gabba Gabba") at the mall...

...with ALL THESE PEOPLE.

Finally, after waiting for over an hour in the huge, loud crowd (in 1000 degree heat, even though we were inside) Brobee and Plex finally came out!  When Brobee turned around to go backstage, I screamed out, "BO-BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"  He just left without saying good-bye :(

While I was waiting for Brobee, I walked around the mall with Grammy and Grampa.
I liked pushing the stroller more than actually riding in it.

Playing in the kitchen while Mommy cooked dinner a few nights ago.

Visiting Grandmommy is fun:

Daddy and me on Daddy's birthday.  I am saying, "My daddy!"  in this picture.

Um.  Yeah.  Cleaning up my "artwork."
Mommy was kind of upset, but secretly she was proud that some of my drawing looks like letters!
Plus, she couldn't be too upset, since she left me in the playroom (with a pen within reach) for NO MORE than 2-3 minutes!
What can I say?  It was just too tempting!

Sleeping in my Sunday dress.
I took a super long nap on Sunday after church ... almost 3 hours!

And NOW PRESENTING ...  An interpretive dance ... starring me!

Last Days of Summer :(

Well, the summer went by way too quickly.
This picture shows how I feel about the end of summer:

"Bleh."

This week we took one last summer trip to the park.  I think Mommy will still take me to the park after school some days, but I sure have enjoyed going in the mornings when it's still cool.

On Saturday we went out to eat a yummy lunch with my Grandma, Aunt Liz, Jake, and Uncle Mark.  I have really enjoyed spending time with family this summer!

Before the end of summer I had to try out the sprayground in Roswell.  It was so much fun.  I had NO fear.  I ran through the water, played with the big kids, and had SO MUCH FUN!!!

Then, today I went to a friend's birthday party.  I think I love birthdays!  I played and played and played.

Riding the "neigh."

"Oops!  I went Boom!"

I put these huge feet on and tried to walk around.

Backwards feet!

The jumpy slide.

"Weeeee!"

What fun!

Busy Days ... Full of FUN!

Well I have been super busy having lots of fun for the past couple of weeks.  You can tell it's time to get out of the house for some fun when you start playing with ALL your toys in new and different ways, because they are all you've seen for days and days.
For example:

Here I am sitting in my toy box after successfully dumping it out all over the playroom floor.

Here, I am doing the "I have no arms dance."

I put every one of my linking toys on my arms and did the bracelet cheer/dance!

So ... as you can see I have been having lots of fun at home this summer, but Mommy and I decided we'd better get out of the house a little bit.  So here is what we did ...

Tuesday:  Blueberry Picking
Friends from church invited us to go pick blueberries at Berry Patch Farm.  Max and I enjoyed this experience from his wagon.  It was really hot and sunny, but we snacked and watched the grown ups pick the berries.  I ate them almost as fast as Mommy picked them.  (They told us we could eat them off the bush since they don't spray them with anything bad.)

Paying for the berries we didn't eat.

Wednesday:  Trip to Gainesville
On Wednesday we left after story time and lunch to go visit "Aunt" Ashley in Gainesville.  I had so much fun playing with her and her puppy, then swimming with her at the new pool complex in her town.  There was so much fun stuff to do there.  They had a miniature lazy river, little spray fountains, a water slide, waterfall toys, and two indoor pools!

Playing with/as the dog

Friday:  Trip to Athens
On Friday we went to Athens to visit Jesse and his Mommy and Daddy.  They were packing to move to Stockbridge and I told them I would come and help Mommy babysit Jesse so he wouldn't get in their way when they were packing.  Funny thing is Jesse fell asleep and slept for a couple hours, so I was the only one in their way while Mommy tried to help pack.  Oh well, it was still fun to see Jesse, and I even got to see Uncle Thomas while I was there.  Before we came home, Mommy took me to eat dinner at Fresh Air Barbecue.  Mommy said it was yummy, but I was being picky and didn't eat any of it.  She said, "Mmmm, you just don't know what's good!"  (I think somebody famous said that once or something.)

Saturday:  Trip to Decatur/Avondale Estates
On Saturday we got up, ate breakfast, then went to visit my other "Aunt" Ashley at her house.  I loved running around her house and exploring, and of course my favorite thing to do was to play with/chase her cats.  One of them was hidden very well the whole time (I seem to have that effect on cats) and another one ran and hid under the bed.  Of course, I tried to get under there to play with him, but for some reason Mommy thought that was a bad idea.  So, I just decided to go back to my other activity:  running around and around and around her house.

I stopped running around long enough to pose for this picture with Ashley.

Before we went to eat lunch at Maddy's BBQ we decided to take a walk around the lake in  Ashley's neighborhood.  It was so peaceful, and the temperature outside was PERFECT.  So, I couldn't fight it ... I had to just "rest my eyes" for a minute.

Tuesday, This Week:  Trip to Atlanta's Imagine It Children's Museum
On Tuesday, we went with Walker and his mommy, Audrey and Ava and their mommy, and Ashley to the Children's Museum in Atlanta.  And by "went with them" I mean we walked in the door at the same time and occasionally said "Hi" to each other as we ran past.  There was so much fun stuff to do and we each liked different areas of the museum, so we hardly saw one another the whole time we were there!

Walker and I both spotted the "BALLS!!!" the minute we walked in the door.

I loved driving at the museum.  Here, I am "Farmer Katie" driving my John Deere tractor around my farm.

I went shopping at the Grocery Store and LOVED pushing around the Katie-sized-shopping cart.

Here I am leaving the grocery store and driving my cart around the entire museum.  ("I know I parked around here somewhere!)

There was a kitchen where I could cook dinner.  I was very realistic in my play ... even washing the dishes after dinner!

I liked the water play.  It was fun to catch fish!

Here is Mommy's attempt to get a picture of Walker, Ava, and me all in the same place at the same time.  It didn't last long.

This was my favorite spot in the museum.  I loved playing the piano, and even more-so, I loved picking up the piano stool and moving it all over the place, then trying to sit on it.

I tried out the sand table with the others (one of the only times we were all 4 in the same spot at the same time).  You know how I feel about sand on my hands, so needless to say this did not last long!

Tap dancing (tap shoes over my own shoes!)

Picking flowers from the pretend garden

Playing with Walker (and by "with" I mean beside, but by no means "sharing") at the train tables :)

All four of us at the train table

More driving (I do know how to work this thing!)

MORE driving (driving the truck to the grocery store)

This Wednesday:  Today I spent the morning with Honey and her friend, and her friend's granddaughter, Ava.  Mommy didn't send my camera with me, so I don't have any pictures to load onto the blog.  (Maybe Honey got some pictures?) But ... it was a super fun morning with a trip to the park, a picnic lunch, and much more!

I told you that I have been busy!  Now you know why I haven't updated the blog in so long!  School is starting back very soon, so the summer fun will soon come to an end.  But I sure have enjoyed every last minute of this summer with Mommy!
